To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Joanna Zenchak and my mother Anna Maria Gennaro is terminally ill. We found out in February of 2008. She has Malignant Melnoma in her left lung, both her adrenal glands, throughout her stomach and her intestate. She also has bone cancer in her left rib cage, spin and a tumor in her brain. As of May 24th 2008 my mother has been staying at Memorial West in Pembroke Fl due to a fractured hip that was the result of a new tumor in the left side of her hip. It has eaten away at her bone and has caused a Pathological fracture. I had to quit my job to take care of her. In the state that she’s in she requires 24 hour a day care. I have been looking for a program to help me with some kind of aid or assistants. Every program that I have contacted and it’s been many, has told me that since my mother is not 60 years of age or older they can not help me. In the case that she was 60 years of age or older they would be able to help. There has to be some kind of program or someone who can help us. Just because my mother is only 54 years old shouldn’t matter. She’s still terminally ill. Please help me find someone who can give us assistance.
